E. (Kika) De La Garza Fellowship Program
USDA invites faculty, administrators, and staff to apply to the Fellowship Program. The goal of the program is to increase the Fellows’ understanding of USDA and other federal agencies and to identify collaborative projects. Our office organizes regional workshops for faculty, administrators, and staff interested in learning and applying. We partner with numerous federal agencies to educate HSIs on the application process, answer questions from participants, and benchmark grant recipients.
Student Programs
USDA offers internship and scholarship programs to undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of academic fields. In addition, our office provides conference sponsorship and career mentorship to students, and organizes career fairs.
