Ramiro Porras Jr. is a National Program Liaison Officer for Southern California and alumni of the USDA-HSI Fellows program class of 2004. He services the Southern California territory that encompasses all HSI’s north of the U.S-Mexico border and south of Santa Barbara. The regional USDA-HSINP office is located at CSU, San Bernardino.  The Southern California position is unique because it is a partnership with California State University, San Bernardino, San Bernardino Valley College and the USDA HSINP.

Ramiro has a B.A. in Liberal Studies from CSU, San Bernardino and is currently working on his M.A. in Education, also from CSU, San Bernardino.
