For the 5th year in a row, the Hispanic-Serving Institutions National Program under the United States Department of Agriculture is hosting the U.S. Federal Career Fair on Thursday, July 17, 2008. The event will be at held at the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Whitten Building Patio. Co-sponsoring this event is the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU). The Federal Career Fair is a special project in part to attract people into the federal service.
We expect over 300 students to participate with over 30 exhibitors from various USDA agencies and a wide array of other federal departments. Agencies wishing to participate must be able to offer full-time or internship positions that are currently open. There is no registration fee for exhibitors. Students will have the opportunity to interview for internship and full-time positions.
